Anxiety & depression counseling for adults.
You’ve had enough of this.
Anxiety. Depression. Stress. Big life changes. Whatever it is, you want it to stop. Your mind often races with thoughts like:
“I feel so far behind.”
"I get angry over the smallest things."
"Everyone else has it together, why don’t I?"
“I feel like any day now, everyone at work is going to realize I have no idea what I’m doing.”
"What if I say something stupid and people will judge me?"
And it’s not like you haven’t tried to feel better either. The self-help books, productivity tips, and endless scrolling for solutions have led to short periods of positive change—followed by even more anxiety and self-doubt. These days, you’re going through the motions, but not really living: second-guessing, overthinking, feeling drained. What you really want is more than just another coping strategy—something deeper. You need a way to finally break free from this cycle.
Maybe life looks like…
Constantly doubting your abilities and feeling like a fraud at work, all while being burned out and overwhelmed from trying to keep up.
Scrolling social media and feeling like everyone else has it all figured out except you.
Planning your day to the minute, then spiraling when something doesn’t go as expected.
Watching everyone else move forward while you feel stuck in the same place.
Lying in bed exhausted but unable to turn your brain off.
Navigating a big change—new jobs, a move, or a shift in a relationship—where decisions feel overwhelming and scary.
Snapping at loved ones, then drowning in guilt afterward.
Saying yes to things you don’t want to do because you’re afraid of disappointing others.
You don’t have to “just relax” or “think positive” for this to get better.
My approach
When it comes to depression and anxiety—or really anything you’re experiencing—I take a thoughtful, multi-layered approach.
We’ll talk about your goals and what brought you to therapy, and we’ll take a look at your past—without the blame game—because the things you went through back then have a big impact on how you show up today. From there, we’ll bring in a mix of tools that actually work, like DBT, ACT, CBT, IFS, and mindfulness. For trauma and other past experiences that feel like they’re hanging around and making everything harder than they need to be, we can discuss trying EMDR.
I know firsthand the intense emotions and stress that can come with burnout from a demanding work environment, struggling with body image, losing a loved one, or wondering what your role or “purpose” is in this life. I’m here to remind you that you’re allowed to take up space, make noise, and even mess up as you’re figuring it all out. It’s all a part of being human.
I’ll also help you understand what’s going on in your body.
Anxiety and depression aren’t just “in your head”—they show up in your nervous system, and we’ll dive into that so you can start noticing what’s triggering you and how to calm your system down. You’ll learn to pause, take a breath, and respond in a way that feels right for you. No more running on autopilot.
I don’t believe in handing you a bunch of coping strategies and calling it a day—that’s not therapy. Here, we’ll challenge the old stories you’ve been telling yourself, help you show up more authentically, and build the emotional resilience you need to move through life with a little more ease. My goal is to help you feel more like yourself—strong, grounded, and confident enough to handle whatever comes your way.
Therapy for anxiety & depression can help you:
Find balance by focusing on what truly matters to you (and letting go of the rest)
Create boundaries that protect your energy without feeling guilty
Stop second-guessing yourself and start making decisions with confidence
Speak to yourself with kindness instead of criticism
Act with intention instead of reacting on impulse
Overthinking doesn’t have to be your cardio anymore.

Frequently asked questions

If you find yourself constantly overthinking, feeling stuck, or unable to break free from negative thought patterns, therapy can help. Anxiety can show up in many ways—constant worry, physical tension, or racing thoughts, while depression can make everything feel heavy, including the simplest tasks. If you’re finding it difficult to break free from these patterns or feel disconnected from joy, therapy can help you regain balance and rediscover your sense of self.

Caring about others’ opinions is normal, but when it starts affecting your decisions and sense of self, it can be especially draining. Therapy can help you explore the root of this fear of judgment and work on building a stronger sense of self-worth that doesn’t rely on external validation. I can help you learn how to tune into your own values and let go of the need for constant approval, so you can live more authentically and confidently.

Yes. Therapy helps you dig into where these “I’m not good enough” feelings started—maybe from early experiences or unrealistic expectations you’ve internalized. We’ll unpack those old stories and reframe them so you can stop second-guessing yourself. With new ways to manage those moments of doubt, you can start to trust your abilities and feel more at ease in your skin, no longer waiting for someone to “catch you” as a fraud.
